2nd Annual Legends Ride:
• Monday, August 3, 2009
• Registration 11am to 2:30pm at the Silverado in Deadwood, SD
• Tickets are purchased per person, not per bike. 
• 100% of your contribution (total ticket sales) goes to the 501(c)(3) nonprofit charities selected by the Kids & Chrome Foundation, namely the Black Hills Children’s Home Society and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame.
• Ticket Price, non-refundable: $150 per-person / pre-registration  / $200 per person day of event
• Free parking in Deadwood and the Legendary Buffalo Chip
• Special souvenir gift pack (one per ticket) includes event T-shirt, promotional poster and sponsor goodies. 
• Admission, plus food and drinks to a special reception in our Softtail Lounge at the Buffalo Chip, and general admission to our concert, which will feature Toby Keith. Lita Ford will be the opening act.

ABOUT STEVEN TYLER AT THE LEGENDS RIDE

There has been much speculation about Steven Tyler having “confirmed” that he will join the Legends Ride.  The basis for this “confirmation” is a press release from the public relations agency representing Dirico Motorcycles.  Like you, we were excited to have read their press release.

Mr. Tyler has not personally communicated this confirmation to the Buffalo Chip.  I do not know if he will in fact participate.  Furthermore, it is my experience that even if Mr. Tyler had confirmed to Dirico that he intends to participate, Mr. Tyler’s other responsibilities may ultimately preclude his participation (which, of course, is similarly true for every other celebrity).

We have our fingers crossed in hopes that Mr. Tyler will in fact participate in some capacity and are prepared to accommodate that appearance. However, you are advised to make your decision to contribute to these worthy charities and join the ride just for the good and the fun of it, without consideration of whether Elvis may make a special appearance.
